Author: Winner Group   Time: 2018-02-09

C&D waste can be divided into different kinds according to their original source with a few differences in composition:

C&D waste

Excavation of the land: It can be divided into topsoil and deep soil and can be used for planting, backfilling and landscaping.

Excavation of the road: It can be divided into concrete road excavation and asphalt road excavation.

Construction site waste: Residual concrete, construction debris, mortar and other mineral materials, wood, metal, paper and so on.

Demolition of old buildings: It is divided into brick, stone, concrete, wood, plastic, plaster and mortar, steel and non-metal.

The composition of construction site and demolition process is compared as follows:

The data in this table does not represent the composition of all regions. As can be seen from the table, the composition of construction waste in construction and demolition is very different. Among them, there is a large proportion difference among concrete fragments, reinforced concrete, soil, dust, rock and gravel. Therefore, when dealing with the C&D waste from different sources, the equipment adoption should be adjusted accordingly.
